Anime I’m currently watching: Kuuchuu Buranko or Trapeze

I like twisted/psychological anime like Kemonozume and Monster! <3

I still have to finish Higashi no Eden! @_@ I’ve also abandoned reading DOGS (to read Bakuman instead)

Going back to Trapeze, I really like the way they integrated actors into the animation. a human face with some photoshop filter with anime hair. hahahha XD

I have been waiting for weeks for my Kuchu Buranko to finish downloading. I can’t find a well seeded version.

RAWR, I’ve wanted to watch this ever since /tr/ went crazy over him, dammit.

The Atheist’s Challenge

Where do you get your morality from, and please explain your morality. Basic social contract. I do good because why will people do good for me if I can’t reciprocate? What is ‘good’ is something that allows you to do what makes you happy without it making other people miserable, is I must simplify it. But my personal morality sometimes borders on being radically self-serving when it isn’t being staunchly objective.
Why do you accept evolution? Explain how you came to your conclusions. It’s observable. It’s got proof. And even if there are gaps in the information we have, it is still infinitely more believable then things like creationism.
What is the meaning and purpose of your life? To live. Seriously. I don’t understand why people need to keep pushing this ‘purpose of life’ stuff. We live because we do. What you want to do with your life is all up to you.
What is the greatest thing you have ever done for others? This is a really cheesy answer but the greatest thing I’ve done for others is to be there when they needed me. Or even if they needed just anyone. How do you quantify greatness?
Would you kill for atheism? Wat. What does that even mean? How is it possible to ‘Kill for Atheism’? I would kill a dangerous religious figure to prevent them from committing mass murder, but even that isn’t ‘Killing for Atheism’. I don’t believe there to be such a thing.
Why are you an atheist and consider your position valid? It makes sense. And the logical kind of sense. Not ‘I like the sound of this position so it makes sense in my world!’ kind of sense. That, and I can back my position up with substantial evidence.
If you died and discovered a god existed, what would you say to he/she/it? That depends on which god we’re talking about. To the Judeo-Christian god, I’d say something along the lines of “Fuck you, you hypocritical manipulative sadist.” To a god that is animist in nature, I say “Damn, i guess I got it right when I was 10, then.” To other possible gods not encompassed in the previous statements, I say “Where have you all been?”
What religion is more dangerous in your eyes today and in the past? All Judeo-Chrisitan religions. They are most vile and dangerous because they hold the most absurd, distructive and crazy world-end rules to live by, combined with the most influence to make people believe in their crap.
Name three peaceful religions you have no issue with? While not technically counting, the ones at the top of my head are Buddhist, because they seem utterly peacefull as far as I’ve been aware of and Shinto because other than bordering on being a children’s fairytale, it doesn’t hold any inheritly harmful beliefs. I cannot think of any other religion I feel I don’t have an issue with.
What would it take for you to believe in a god? Proof beyond any and all doubt. A ‘miracle’ that a god can corporeally take credit for. That and they have to be able to demonstrate the ability to defy logic and reality.
Would the world be a better place without religion? Infinitely.
How do you feel about government and politics? What does this have to do with being an Atheist, exactly?
If you could go back in time and kill Hitler/Stalin as babies so they would never kill the millions in the future, would you do it if time travel was possible? Hitler, yes if I was entirely sure my time travel would not destroy the very fabric of time, and that the conditions of my killing them would not be directly responsible for another atrocity of similar magnitude. But honestly, I would rather go back in time to rehabilitate them to prevent them from growing into such maniacs. Think Brainiac 5 not becoming the evil that wrought havok on Kel-El’s future.
Why is stem cell research so important? Yes.
Is abortion evil? No.
What would the circumstances be for you to approve of torture as an individual? At the expense of peoples lives, yes I personally would use it as a last resort.
Should we try to save the animals from going extinct? Yes. Because I’ve always regret not being able to see live Dinosaurs.
Do you approve of capital punishment? Explain. Yes. Not because of some eye-for-an-eye ideology, but because I think keeping them alive would put more people in danger.
Do you believe in aliens, ghosts, spirits, souls, any supernatural forces? Only on TV, bb.
Would you sacrifice yourself for a loved one with a chance you may end up in hell for being an atheist? I’d be willing to go to this ‘hell’ of yours with or without being admiral. If your hypothetical gods do exist, I’d be willing to spend infinity suffering for not giving into to their absurdity.
Explain in detail the process of death. Your body stops functioning. You rot.
Have you ever been dead? Only on the inside. Hurrdehurr.

In 1924, university professor Hidesamuro Ueno brought his dog, Hachiko, to Tokyo. Every morning Hachiko saw his master off at the front door, and every evening he greeted him at the nearby train station.

The professor died in May 1925, but the faithful dog still went to the station every day to wait for him.

He kept this up for 10 years.

The dog became a national sensation in 1932, when this story was published, and he’s since been the subject of books and movies. Today a bronze statue stands at Shibuya Station, where he kept his vigil.

He’s Alex fucking Kapranos. He plays guitar and sings in Franz Ferdinand, one of the most awesome bands of the decade.

His voice. Not only can he sing, but he also has a sexy speaking voice. AND he has this beautiful, Scottish accent.

His lips. ‘Nuff said.

He’s got moves. Yes, he plays great songs and sings them wonderfully, BUT he also makes sure he’s entertaining to watch with his awesome moves on stage.

The man’s got style. With his RayBans, leather jackets, striped sweaters and gorgeous hair, he reminds us of how badly we just want to tear it all off. (except his hair of course).
